I wouldn't say he sucks at trolling; I mean, eight pages of spleen is nothing to sniff at. Here's the troll's dilemma: it's a bit hard to spark a protracted debate while still being amusingly ridiculous. Unless the OP returns to the forum to defend himself, people will quickly come to the conclusion that he's not reading their angry posts and will move on to something out. To start a lengthy flame war with only one post as you suggest, one has to incite people to argue amongst themselves. To do this, the OP usually has to raise an issue that will draw advocates to both sides (Shimano vs. Campy threads, for example), and this usually requires a certain degree of restraint. That's what made his recent "SRAM Red Sucks" thread so masterful: he was able to draw partisans to each opposing side while still being absurd. Why is it important that his original post be stupid? So that, by and by, participants realize that they have been had, that all their anger and consternation was ultimately about nothing. Now, I'm not one for troling myself, but I recognize good work when I see it. This guy is probably the most expert troll we've seen around here since Ryan F's exile.

Ah, the arrogance of the "green" movement. Somehow they think that "we're" ruining the earth. Fact is, we can't....Lastly, the amount of greenhouse gasses and other pollutants that come out of one, even moderate sized, volcanic eruption dwarf what humans produce over a 10 year period.
We're producing more C02 & methane than natural disasters by a large margin.
Of course, most of the "green freaks" out there are a large part of the problem. Buying four pairs of greentastic fair-trade eco-shoes is still quite a lot worse for the environment than buying a single pair of New Balance quadruple-wides once a year. Similarly, owning a Pontiac Firebird with a giant V8 can be extremely green if you drive the same car for fourteen years straight and have a round-trip commute of about four miles.
