Does driving effect your cycling?
This is not a parody thread, I swear.
I'm curious if anyone else has ever done this: All of our rides pretty much begin the same way, by clipping in, adjusting the feet and settling into the saddle. I add one more step by thinking I need to apply the seat belt. I sort of pause, then remind myself I have no seat belt.
Anyone else do that?

other way around. cycling affects my driving. i drive more cautiously and more defensively because of cycling.

I stay pretty focused on myself and block out drivers. Its a waste of time and energy to worry about them.

Yes, I often check the gas gauge, adjust the mirrors, turn on the auto wipers, defroster, and roll out of my driveway as I adjust the radio, it is confusing because I wear cycling clothing in my car, and my bike seat is like a leather couch with a full cage around it.
