Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I tried getting up for it.

I should be able to on Wed. 6:30 is just way too early to wake up for me when I don't have to do anything until 3:30.

Beautiful pics, wish I could take a morning ride like that. I have to say that I don't like you out of pure jealousy, it is -11F and a foot of snow outside right now!

Correction it is a balmy -2 now!

It really was a bit dark when we started out this morning. Hauling down Canon, at that speed, felt a little dicey. Lucky I have every bump and pot hole memorized.

I bet. I've tried getting up uuber early to ride, but my body won't let me.

Hell, I barely made it to my 8AM class on time this semester, and State's only a 20 minute ride away from my house.

On the other hand you could have that for dinner, then you'd be sure to be up in time for the morning ride
