Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cateye Mity 8 Computer - How do I turn this thing off?

I purchased a Careye Mity 8 computer a few days ago. I can't seem to turn this thing off. If there a pattern I'm supposed to press with the 3 buttons to turn this thing off?

Help a noob please.

IIRC, mine goes into sleep mode by itself after a while. No need to have an off switch--they don't consume much power.

Most computers turn off when you stop then turn back on when the magnet rotates again.

The computer will go to sleep after a period of inactivity. The battery drain on these things is so small that batteries will last years so there's really no point in adding the overhead of further power down modes.

In case you don't have the manual, here's Cateye's manual repository, with an entry for the Mity 8.
