Nothing wrong with that.

A 7cm stem? I really didn't know they made 70mm stems.

I'd like to see pics of that bicycle.

I've since changed the tape to regular Fizik Microtex (as opposed to the soft touch that gets grungy like normal white tape), put an R700 crankset on, and tweaked the fit a little bit more.

Also, you're an inch off - I'm 5'3" without shoes.

Whoah.

But what about me - who spends more time on the roadie than the mountain bike, but try to get to the trails every 1-2 weeks, and is racing (xc) in july?

mzeffex 04-12-10 06:10 PM

Also, I like your.. Scat.

patentcad 04-12-10 06:10 PM

OK, so how tall are you mm? That's not a bad looking bike for a Performance (cringe) bike.

Thanks! It's what I could afford to build/buy so I'm happy with it :)

CyciumX 04-12-10 06:14 PM

Thats absolutely adorable that the bike with the aid of saddle barely reaches the handle of the door

CyciumX 04-12-10 06:15 PM

Did you get the R700 from Jenson? Liked it so damn much I bought two for the less than a 105.

Yup! - that was an amazing price....

patentcad 04-12-10 06:19 PM

I think short guys have an unfair aero advantage in cycling anyway.

Just messin with you.. I like that Scat too... makes sense though.. I bought the TT version. Oddly enough they were made by Focus which is now being sold without the re-branding @ Performance.

The future of cycling are converted horse jockeys.

I'm itching to race, but there's so few races around here (like, in an hour) it's disappointing.
