Sanity prevails on BF.

There's a shock.

Nothing shifts like Shimano chainrings. Albeit you can have a Shimano crank w/ Sram, I just prefer Shimano shifting. Srams light, it has that going for it. If I could have any group it would be 7800.

How do you like your 7800 v 7900? For whatever reason I am still set on getting a 7800 group.

7800 has a lighter shift action. 7900 is lighter, better brakes. I like the 7900 and new Ultegra 6700 now that I'm used to the two groups. That stuff just friggin works.

I have tektro brakes so anything would be better. I think I just broke in the front shifter/fd. I have a 105 shifter and ultegra derailleur, and it suddenly shifts so quickly and quietly, I don't understand. It used to have issues.

Get Ultegra 6700.

Don't worry, it was just a short visit.

My FD is 6700. Rear is 6600. Shifters are 5600. Crank is 7800.

Good mix, kind of.

Ya know, if it weren't for this thread, I would have no green dots on the first page. That's just sad.

Yeah, when you reply to a thread, you get a green dot for that thread.

Tulex 06-26-10 09:15 PM

Well, it's more a green circle with a check mark in it.....
