So, what are the main bullet points for upgrading from a 3GS with iOS4 to an iPhone4? I mean, real reasons, not this video phone schlock.

it's shiny. it has the hd camera which i like, the 5 mp camera which is a bit better, the high resolution retina display and i like the new form factor. but to be honest, i'm an apple fan boy and it was a free upgrade after selling my old iphone for more than this one will cost me. i just wanted the shiny new toy.

I'm a small businessman (micro, really) too. Had about a year of half revenue a couple of years ago -- that sucked. Hang in there!

Florida average ride speeds are fast. Here it's too hilly. Flat 50 miler today. 4000 ft of vertical. Such is life atop Mt. Doom.

I would've welcomed half revenue. we got down to a hair over 10% with my company the last month before we shut it down. 20 years gone.

yea, the flat speeds here are pretty crazy. I'm heading up to NC in a few hours, I'll finally get to see what this climbing stuff is all about.

I'm sure not one to argue with that.

That Addict felt friggin great this AM. I like the fit better than the Cervelo. I have to put those bikes together and try to figure out why that is. But the Scott fit is slightly more comfortable. Man that bike climbs good.

Charlotte (harrisburg and concord) for the most part. Going to try to make it out to asheville for at least one ride though. I wish I lived out there, the abundance of group rides is ridiculous!

lol @ 4000 ft being flat. thats a week of bridge repeats for me. The other thing is, todays ride is the slow ride. I wish I could last for more than 5 miles on the fast ride to have an accurate feel of what it's like.

This stupid thread is approaching 100,000 views.

Go figure.

Do it. Ride the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's great.

5 minutes in the bike bunker. Problem identified. Adjustment made. Nothing escapes Pcad's Eagle Eye.

What was the adjustment?

I wish I had a bunker. Mine's more like a bivouac.

Moved one thin spacer down, raised the handlebars on the Cervelo about 8 mm. Surprisingly small adjustments do make a noticeable difference in bike fit, and it never fails to amaze me.

You moved a spacer down? Do you have more than one up there?

The madone 6 is still in the works. However that takes time.

To say that it's in the works is to imply that you are actually working to attain one. Hard to do that without a job :innocent:

My bikes have more spacers than a Grateful Dead Convention.

One of the club road Nazis does bike fits & has lots of happy customers. It's $275 for the first bike and $137.50 for the second. Worth it?

WhatEVER.

I have a "flat" course that has 1300 ft of elev gain and an 11% grade hill. It's all in the last 4 miles.

I also live on a hill, but it's no Mt. Doom.
