what's that stripey thing hanging down from your stem?

A plastic mount for a bike computer. Since removed in favor of the Joule 2.0.

Someone said the 41 is like the minor league to the 33.

That being the case, when/how do people get "called up"?

I'm like a 20-year-old switch hitter batting .500 in AAA.

I thought Cervelos mostly came in various combinations of red, black and white. Seems like it would be pretty difficult to screw that up.

Really iPad owners?

coasting 07-28-10 11:30 AM

they tried extra hard and succeeded.

It would appear that way. Unless of course, you choose to make your most appealing bike all white.

The 41 is the alpha and the omega. You can check out anytime you want, but you can never leave.

I think it's rather handsome. Much like myself.

You've probably been asked this before, but why didn't you get the next larger size? It looks like there is enough seatpost showing along with a long enough stem, so the next size up all you would need is a slightly shorter stem, but no spacers.

Because I emulate the hard core bike racer morons, and they all ride bikes that are too small for them.

And of course, because it works.

If KC is anything like Central Iowa, then the humidity is around 90%. So it's hot.

theres much more to handling than just size.

That's not the only thing though. I ride a 56cm with a 120mm stem. I could ride a 58 with a 100mm stem, but then I couldn't get my bars low enough. Look at the linked picture of my bike and you'll see what I'm talking about.
