That lezyne pump is the shiznet. Tested it out today and mounted in on the Scott. That will come in handy in Greece (you're not supposed to take CO2 on the airplane).

Which only proves that Pcad knows almost everything about road cycling, and botto knows the rest (botto pointed me in the direction of this gizmo).

Let me rephrase that, botto and I have forgotten more about road cycling than 90% of you Freds will ever know.

The only thing that will ever drag botto into this thread is me baiting him by linking our names, hopefully he'll show up to flame me.

In a "who will win the TDF" thread, I predicted Botto or one of the Schleck brothers. I don't think I ever received a comment back.

:D

botto can lose 2lbs just by shaving his mustache.

That should get him in here.

Last week hecklar challenged me and velo to put our cards on the table about blood test results. What a weird internet peeing contest, but I'll play. I got the results today. You health freaks read and weep.

In mg/dl: Total cholesterol 150.8, HDL 58.0, LDL 69.6, triglyceride 124.0

mmol/l: Total cholesterol 3.9, HDL 1.5, LDL 1.8, triglyceride 1.4

Beat that! Bet you can't. I win.

I don't even know what all of that means. Greek

That alone, justifies all the money and time dedicated to cycling IMO.

Just curious. Did they dive you the results both in mg/dl and SI units or did you make the conversion?

No kidding. Compared to my first test 7 months ago, total cholesterol is down 17%, HDL up a whopping 67%, ldl down 42%, tri down 13%. Un freaking believable.

I inflated tires after punctures in Greece half a dozen times with one of these:

http://www.btownbikes.com/smsimg/24/...cket_al-24.jpg

Takes some elbow grease to get up to 60 lbs (that's all you really need to keep riding). It really is fine. The Lezyne delivers 2-3x the air volume. Works great.

Either pump beats the crap out of lugging around a full sized pump. Can't carry CO2 carts on the plane, so a micro pump will have to serve, and it does.

I had my yearly physical two weeks ago. I told my doctor that I was healthier than last year and there was no need to draw blood or bring out the rubber glove. He took my blood pressure and heart rate, pushed on my stomach, and sent me on my way. Five minutes max. It was delightful. Worth every cent of the $10 co-pay.

Even with the conversion, none of those results mean anything to me.
