I'm going to get my pedals removed.
you'll need a special wrench, and it's worth the extra money. make sure the said wrench at least 12" long. you'll need to generate a lot of torque, especially if you didn't grease the thing before putting them on right pedal is regular threaded: meaning if you turn counterclockwise, the screw goes in left pedal is reverse threaded: meaning if you turn counterclockwise, the screw goes out if you could, have some step on the crank arm while you try to turn the screw. otherwise, you'll need to put step on crank while trying to pry loose the pedal make sure you buy some PTFE grease afterwards and apply them to the thread your pedals before installing them on the new bike edit: as Crash716 mentioned, get one of these: http://www.parktool.com/products/det...t=27&item=PW-4 you can find them at reasonable prices on ebay. hell, if you order now, it may just show up before your bike does |

15mm Wrench will work fine. If you cant get it off slip a pipe over the end. Works great.

Where is your avatar picture? It looks like it's in a desert. |
