Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Pedalforce frames?

Ive been seeing a lot about them on here but I am not familiar with the frames. Opinions? I'm not in the market for a frame right now but I am curious.

There was a BF group buy awhile back, and a number of people around here have them. The owners appear to like them, and difficult to argue with the price.

I'm really happy with mine. It's plenty stiff and the ride is quite good. I'd consider another.

Oh yeah like frames other manufacturers don't have problems sometime. Wasn't there a thread about a Trek frame breaking....

I've been riding a QS2 for nearly four years. Its' my number 2 bike. I ride it in the winter since I put the lights and fenders on it, and in the summer it's a backup for my other bike. It gets 1500-2500 miles a year. It's a good frame, and PedalForce treats their customers well. I'd buy another one.

Bikes: Pedal Force QS3

I love my RS so much I'm considering the current group buy, even though i need a new road frame like I need a bullet hole in the forehead. I should really spend the money on a Quarq.

I rode my ZX3 for two years -- loved it. High performance, light weight, high stiffness. I only changed because my style of riding changed and Pedal Force doesn't make a bike with "endurance" geometry.

If I were in the market for a bike and PF made a Roubaix-style frame, I wouldn't hesitate to snap one up.

I have exactly the same thoughts. Was looking for a Roubaix style frame at PF yesterday.....

Check out the CX1. Plenty of room for big tires and fenders plus really tall headtubes (for a given top tube length). I commute on one and so far (almost 2500 miles) it's been a great frame.

I looked hard at the CX1 before I bought my Ti Fantomcross. It looks like a great frame. Still doesn't have the Roubaix geometry I'm looking for. Bad backs suck...

I was the first to complete the Z3 group buy build and post it to the board. I was also the first to sell the frame after one ride. I hated the steering, it was way too slow for me. I upset a lot of people with my impressions of the bike, but I was just telling the truth, the bike was a slug. It did go in a straight line very well, and it was light, and it didn't cost all that much. I sold it for what I had in it so I didn't loose any money and the new owner was very happy with it.

I've had a 53cm RS since July of 2007 and have been very happy with it. The new group buy is quite tempting.

I love my RS2. I'm possibly looking into their new Group Buy that their offering- we'll see. It does everything a badged frame does.
I've been happy.
