The shape of the first looks funky and the second is very shiney.

Was wondering about those price for Carbon alloy ? or should i stay with alu ?

I used the biomax for a while and found them comfortable but wanted a longer straight section at the ends. Specialized makes such a beast. But they're overpriced 'less you can snipe a pair on ebay
