I'm doing a Century ride (106miles) Saturday, and of course I get hit with some kind of problem. For the past couple of days I've had horrible stomach acid accompanied with nausea/gas and now I'm starting to feel a head cold coming on.
I refuse to give up easily and forfeit the ride, unless I absolutely must... I gotta find a way to get re-hydrated, lose the stomach pain and kick this oncoming cold before Saturday.
Any tips are welcome.
Thanks for reading.

There are two supplement type products intended to fight colds; Emergency and Airborne. Chug them at max dosage and rest. Buy a nasal wash kit to rinse your nasal cavity, it'll really help you loosen the mucus. If it's just a head cold, you should be able to complete the ride with ease. If it's in your chest, stay home. Are you sure it's not just spring allergies?

Good advice so far. Try not to stress out too much. That can only make things worse. Maybe this story will help.
Last year I got food poisoning on the Tuesday night before a big double on Saturday. I was puking and pooping all night and basically spent the night in a porta-potty. Not fun. The good news is that with a lot of rest I felt pretty good on Saturday and managed to finish the ride. It's amazing what a little adrenaline can do for you on event day.
Rest up and hope for the best. You might be surprised how good you can feel on Saturday.

I use this stuff to kick a cold's ass:

Yes, there is a ton of negative rap about this stuff. However... it works wonders for me.
