Recommend A Saddle Bag
I'm looking for something very thin at the seat post as I have some saddle setback that causes the front of my current saddle back to rub on the inside of my shorts.
I don't necessarily want a small bag just one thin at the front yet big enough to fit a spare tube, tire levers, multi-tool, keys, and a cell phone.
Thanks for any suggestions!

I had something similar happen, ruined 2 pairs of shorts before I noticed. I must be crooked because it's only my left leg that contacted the strap that went around the seatpost. I switched to this Topeak bag, it's worked out well so far.

I like the Specialized small. Fits tube, 2 tire irons, 2 CO2 cartridges, and a multi-tool. It has a nice divider to separate the tire from the other items. My cell phone goes in my jersey pocket. The bag is small and narrow (no rub).

In addition to the Topeak mentioned above, Sci-Con bags have no strap around the seat post. I had the same problem as you, tearing shorts, and it was the velcro strap, not the bag itself. Check out Sci-Con, that is what I ended up with.

Same thing here -- picked this up randomly at a lbs while on the road and I absolutely love it. Fits in snugly enough that it doesn't hang down and rub the seat post. Highly recommend it.

I have this one, fits tube, multitool, 2 carbon dioxide cartridges, and the nozzle for the cartridges.

I think this is the Siran is talking about, the only problem I have is I have to pack it before I put it on my bike. I think that is because of the cartridges and nozzle, I just don't have a better solution so I can carry another tube in it.

I use the Jandd "Mini Tool Bag." Holds a tube, two tire levers, patch kit, surgeon's glove, and a CO2 inflator and cartridge.
With some room at the back to spare.

I don't like the idea of a rear saddle bag. think about it, when you're riding, can you see if the bag is secure? if you put your phone or food in there, can you get to easily? I also like the way the bike feels without the extra weight of the bag on the saddle when I stand and rock the bike.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone put food or their phone in their saddle bag.... and I don't think you can really feel the extra weight climbing out of the saddle. That's just my 2 cents though.

I don't like my phone in my pocket because I can feel it moving around when I stand up. There is no pocket tight enough to hold it in place, so I stick it in the bag. Not like I'm answering phone calls on my rides. What am I going to do, ride home faster?

i use a topeak medium wedge, haven't had any problems with it rubbing anywhere and i can't feel / hear it moving around since it's attached to both the saddles rails and the seatpost. it's got a good amount of space on it too.

If you need something a little bigger but still have a narrow profile, look at the Jandd Tire Bag.. Made primarily for people who ride tubulars, it is long and skinny..
