I have looked at buying the Scattante 2004 CFR Carbon, but the photo on their website is fairly low res, just wondering if anyone could post me a image of their own Scattante 2004 Carbon?

I have the 2003 CFR. The only change are the wheels. Trust me, it is a beautiful bike, more so then the pictures indicate.

It really is nice. Nice black finish with a fade to carbon in the middle of the tubes. A great bike all around. I love mine.

how much does the Scattante 2004 CFR Carbon weight?

The ad in their catalog says 17.1 pounds for the standard $1350 CFR and 16.3 for the $2100 LE model. (56cm frame) The $3150 SC-R (scandium-aluminum+carbon?) is listed as 14.5 pounds.

wow.. that's lightweight! for the price that's pretty damn good. 16.3lbs @ $2100 is much lighter than my friend's $4500 16.5lbs Specialized Tarmac.

but how does the carbon frame from this bike holds up? are they beefy? certainly don't want them to start cracking. my brother is looking at getting this.. and he's around 152lbs.

Well, I just ordered the standard CFR with double Ultegra, hopefully it wont take too long to get to Japan. Thanks guys, I'll post up a couple of photo's of the bike once I get it assembled by the local bike shop. I was almost going to buy the LE but thought I would go with standard.
