Shifting Issues while on Trainer

Shifting Issues while on Trainer
Hey all ...
I'm still using my trainer a fair bit, largely as I am starting to do a lot of interval work and find it more comforting to do the puke inducing efforts in the comfort of my own home. However, when the bike is mounted to the trainer the shifting is noisy and misses. The shifting is fine on the road. This happens while doing light efforts, so it isn't the stress of the intervals causing the problem.
I'm using a Fluid 2 trainer with the trainer skewer, and I am reasonably sure that I don't have the tension set too high. The bike clamped in pretty good at the skewer though.
Thoughts?

Trainers that clamp against a skewer can misalign the RD, such that it does not shift the same as normal. If you understand how to adjust the RD, increasing or decreasing the cable tension may help, but of course you need to put the tnesion back where it was when you hit the road.

Pretty normal. My bike does not shift quite as well when it is in the trainer then when it is on the road. Just use your barrel adjusters to fine tune it
