Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

They always include Tootsie rolls. I have no idea why, but I think it's kind of cool.

Slightly off-topic, but I think someone's messing with the Voler website, because this seems a bit overpriced:

Mine came with that. Another company, Sweetwater.com, also puts candies in their boxes. I throw them away because I don't like that kind of stuff. Now if it were 72% and higher dark chocolate -- that's what would really impress me.

I always look forward to those tootsie rolls--usually a fruit one and a chocolate one.

Always get 2. I give them to my wife if she's behaving.

It's called a stick gift. From a marketing point of view it's a great idea. Gets you to remember them and they hope you won't send it back because they gave you something you didn't expect. Bravo.
