What the heck is this cable for?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That video was pretty crazy. It was super odd how he got that massive burst of acceleration while on the saddle. The other riders looked as if they were stopped compared to the amount of acceleration he was doing.

Come ride with me. You'll see first hand just how super odd it really is to get dropped by a seated rider.

He was out there with other Pro riders and not chumps. That comment was just plain idiotic.

Good point Gus.
Exciting news- I've uncovered more evidence of mech doping. Check Roger de Vlaeminck at about 5:15 of this video. Patently obvious. Notify the authorities.

Nothing in that video even comes remotely close to being the same as the prior one.
