Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think some stems are a nominal 25.8 so that they can be used with both 25.4 and 26.0 bars. What stem is it?

I had a 26 bar. I read somewhere that 25.8 is designed to be able to take 26 and 25.4 bars.

i just installed this stem. i like it. very nice. be aware that the height is 30 mm not 40mm like many others makes. It wasnt clear on te website i bught it from.

You could always glue carbon to carbon with some nice epoxy from West Marine.
