Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

No. You have to put some effort in. You can't ask stupid questions and call other people "idiots" and brag about how smart you are.

And you have no right to be helpless and lazy and complain about people trying to help you after you troll them.

You want to be spoon fed. Being 29 years old, you should be embarrassed at your helplessness.

You are either a troll or extremely stupid (you could be both).

How did a thread on frame pumps get to 180 posts? I'm not going back and reading all of that.

Don't doubt the people you are learning from...
by the way I'm a HUGE fan of you NEURO!

Also, even though deep_sky seemingly mocked you along the way, she(?) is the only person who continuously gives you the right advice and of course, you are just going to come up with dramatic problems that could happen. You often call people insecure and trying to feed our egos but you seem to be the insecure one of us all...the problem lies within you.

i came back from LBS with two lezyne pumps - road drive, and micro floor drive HPG. i will test them both then decide which one ( or both ) to return.

so far from just holding them at the store they are definitely better made than topeak. not super well made, just better than topeak.

im out again. i need to swim and bike.

i've seen anyone make such a big deal out of a simple frame pump purchase.

don't forget to take a breathe every now and then while swimming. with nobody to remind you, you might forget.

CO2 is da bomb, though I recommend not frapping it in det cord connected to lit time fuse or attempt to change your tire while standing in a fire. Other than that you should be safe from spontaneous detonation 9 times out of 10, 65% of the time.

Get a good floor pump and carry cab fair.

i don't breathe when i swim. getting my head out of the water produces extra drag. i swim 1 lap at a time so i don't need to breathe as i am swimming.

if i go over 1 lap my stroke starts to deteriorate. that's why i don't do it.

this past week i started practicing "the 5th stroke" meaning underwater "body dolphin" ... that's the one thing i can't do so far. i can swim butterfly with my hands no problem but i can't do it without using hands underwater as all pro swimmers can. but i think i am seeing light at the end of the tunnel - it hits abs mad hard too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30L6XphEgHk

too bad my physique is more like his trainer's than his actually when i was on a high school swimming team my coach had exactly the same physique as his coach as well. hm - conspiracy ?

Protip: Professional swimmers do more than one lap at a time.

Now I'm intrigued. Please tell us of the injuries you've gotten while cycling 20 minutes and swimming 1 lap a day.

Classy. Put me on ignore than insult me so you can act the ass consequence free? Someone should quote me so he has to see what I post regardless.
In addition to be the most inept engineer I've ever heard of, let alone met, you are illiterate as well, since I have already stated I am not a guy.

Figures that you would pick the LBS with the sh*ttiest customer service and piss-poor work out of the several that are much better in just about every respect.

I only came in to see if after almost 200 replies, you were all still giving this guy a beat down. Carry on.

Well I get quite the chuckle watching this guy continually shoot his dick off rather than act rational. For allegedly being an engineer, he displays a quite embarrassing lack of critical thinking, mechanical aptitude, and ability to problem solve. I've never met an engineer who didn't excel at all of these.

I have been gone for 24 hours, I can't believe it's still going on. Going to sit back and watch for a little while.
