Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

2011 Mavic Cosmic SR

Why does Mavic not have anything on their site about their new Cosmic SR wheel?

AFAIK it is basically the Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLR with different stickers and name.

Mavic stopped caring. Their whole lineup of wheels were all designed 10 years ago, save for the R-Sys, which we all know how that is going.

Or you can look at it from the perspective that, perhaps, they were 10 years ahead of their time.

Aside from a complete design overhaul, they are approaching the functional limits of what their wheels are supposed to do.

I think they broke the limit of what their wheels could do when they came out with the R-Sys.
