SRAM Rival chain rub normal?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have 2010 SRAM Red w/KMC X10SL chain; haven't had any issues beyond deraillleur cables readjusted a few days after upgrading to SRAM from Shimano DA.

IIRC Schleck, Contador & Armstrong were using new SRAM Red Limited Tour Edition (black & yellow) components.

I have not had any issues with chain dropping. My chain did rub with the two smallest gears while in the small ring of my compact. After nearly 300mi it just rubs on the smallest gear in the rear. Keep in mind I have not gone back in for my "tune up" yet. And if you do your part and push the front shifter far enough it shifts very quick, if you don't push it far enought then its an issue. Takes a bit more effort with the short lever. And I can run all gears in my large ring, try not to run biggest in the rear but I can if I want with no issues.

Oh, and I can find ten mechanics that say Ford sucks, and I can find ten that say Chevy sucks, and I can find ten that say Toyota sucks, and ...................................

Someone needs come up with one of those stickers where Calvin expresses his opinion per bike component manufacturer.

...that is assuming you aren't andy schleck. /oh snap i trolled all unrelated and stuff

Now I'd like to see a detailed teardown of Sram, Shimano and Campy shifters. I saw one of Campy some time ago that showed the differences between the parts inside the mechanisms of their different models, but I haven't spotted one of Sram or Shimano.
