Shoe recommendations please....
I have a pair of specialized shoes that I tried on in a LBS and seemed to fit I ordered same shoe dif color online. The are to small in left foot and really not great shoes for my foot shape. These were my first pair and I made rookie mistake on fit. $120 down the drain for any thing more than a 20 mile spin.
I have a low vloume narrow foot. Any recommendations for good shoes in the $150-$200 range that would work for my foot shape?
Also they have little to no arch support. What insoles do you guys use, I have super feet green for hiking and they are great but need thin ones for bike shoes?

I just bought a pair of the entry level Specialized shoes. I paid $90 and the shoes are great, comfortable and light. Also they have a very sleek and solid design in this years model. Great shoe that will not break the bank

This Sidi model comes in narrow sizes, a bit over your budget though:

I ride Shimanos. My girl was having pain with Specialized, I got her some Sidis, she loves them. Discomfort totally gone. Her shoes look beautiful, they have these ratchet top straps, and she can go 30 miles with no discomfort. I don't even get to ride Sidis. Of course I want a pair too. But I cn't justify it, the Shimanos are very comfy.

My feet are narrow, long, low-volume, and flat arches that pronate. Instead of spending so much on the shoe, I bought entry-level Specialized BG Sport for $80 and then $150 for custom orthotics. Super comfy no matter what ride lenght. Maybe this route could help you?

Because for those of us that work in shops those type of people are the most aggravating. We aren't here to be your testing ground. If you want to order them online at least let us try to give you a competitive price on it instead of coming in the store, having a salesperson help you and fit you into some shoes and spend time working with you and then go buy online to save $10

The problem is that most LBS prices aren't even in the neighborhood of online stores, much less only $10 away.

My feet are probably more like your girls than a normal man's foot, sans the developing bunion.

PS-Next time you refinance your house go to the local bank and take their rate what ever it is. Support local right?
