Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Custom painted road bikes - post samples here

I'm curious to see if anyone custom-painted their road bikes.

Post samples here!

Mine was custom painted, but by the previous owner and not myself. The clearcoat wasn't the best, so it chipped a little easily, but was otherwise a nice looking bike if you ask me.

that's a really nice look. I always liked blue and yellow but seeing blue and white, I'm impressed.

This frame was custom painted and was a display frame for a Lynskey dealer in New England. While it isn't the paint job I would have chosen if I was picking one out myself, i've decided I like it. The bike iteself is definitely a sweet ride.

Here is my old Bridgestone RB-2 with the 2nd paint job. Originally it was silver, I horribly repainted it Red and Black. I got smart and had it powdercoated DSCN0011..jpg
