How do the School Zone 15mph signs read? When Children Present? Does it have actual hours listed? Are there blinking lights when you are supposed to do 15?

Oh, and actually stop signs don't really mean stop all of the time either ... once you've stopped it's okay to start again

Having a little kid once I can tell you they are unpredictable and there is a reason for the School Zone. Next, I can guarantee you that if someone hit one of my 7 year old, 60 lbs nieces doing 27mph with a bike that that person’s nightmare would begin after the judicial system was through with them. Your actions deserved a ticket. I’d have written you one.

Its amazing how we complain about not being respected by motorist especially when asserting our right to be on the road then break rules because we don't think they should apply to us. Think of it this way: would I do this in my car? I always hate seeing a group of riders where the tail end of the group flagrantly goes through a red light.

hey
so....how does the cop know your real address and what not if you don't have your ID on you? Can't you just say my name's like...shoot...i dunno...Mike Lee (generic american and asian name) and some false address, then take the ticket and go do a century so the officer'd get tired of following you around to make sure you're atleast going to the right address?

I think this is a more valid comparison than an M16 round!

Let's see, you were exceeding the speed limit in a school zone. Why are you surprised?

Cycleprincess... I would have made him chase me! The dirvers aren't going to respect you any less by breaking the laws than they already do, they just want us out of their way. Should have made him him get his lazy butt out of the car! Then dropped him like a bad habit. Most cops I know are too fat out of shape to do anything on foot other than walk into a donut or pizza shop. Had a park cop chase me while I had my dog out with a mountain bike past closing hours. He was trying to stop us on the bike path with his car! We hit the dirt; he went off the road too but not for long; he must have realized it was a lost cause. Laughed my butt off most of the way home! I think my dog even had fun.

Be great to see that on one of these "worlds worst police chases 5" shows. A mtbike is probably the best getaway tool you can use. Faster than running and much more mobile than a car. I don't think I'll pick a fight with a cop to find out though...
