Trek 5200 OCLV Good Deal?
The "new bike" bug has caught our household. Even though I just got my Felt not too long ago, hubby just got a new Tarmac the other day and we came across this in the local classifieds. It's a 2004 Trek 5200 OCLV with full Shimano Ultegra (incl pedals), silver paint scheme, wireless computer and rolf victor wheels (w/new tires) and excellent overall condition. It has a triple up front which I like. $700 is what the lady is asking... any input? I have ridden an aluminum trek in this size before and didn't mind it. Thinking the full carbon might be nice especially for the price... any insight?
PS... still a casual riding beginner here but all the shopping for hubby's bike has got me intrigued and carbon is so light
