just make sure the seatpost is still within the minimum insertion mark.

Nice on both. Funny thing is that bigger bikes usually look more in proportion with the shifters and bars. Smaller bikes look really wacky to me just because of the proportion of the bike to handlebars and seat.

Yes hubby and I are on opposite ends of the height spectrum. He's 6'6" (without shoes) and I'm 5'2 (without shoes as well... haha). There is still length to bring the seat higher but it's good where it is at. It's funny cause my bike looks like a little toy compared to his... oh well
