How come C'dale isn't using the wishbone-style stays anymore? Looks like the Caad10 has straight stays...

Made me respect the CAAD10, but made me LOVE my CAAD9 even more.
If I were going to upgrade from my C9, I'd go up to a high quality carbon frameset.
Kind of reminds me of the upgrade from 105 to Ultegra thread.
Why bother from going to a great frame to a slightly better frame.
I might as well go from a great frame to a really great frame.
I think the CAAD10 is going to have just as strong a following as the C9 has developed.

There's been a whole bunch of threads on this over the years, I believe most Pinarello's are now Asian built frames, as are most Madones now. I'll give you calfee, parlee, crampon...but my point is a lot of really good high end frames are from Asia. I have no problem with this.

that little correction being made though, I'm with you. Giant TCR advanced: Mainland China, Pinarello Dogma: Taiwan, Orbeas, S-Works, all but a handful of companies' top end frames are made in asia and that 25 year old thai woman lays carbon tube joints just as well as Jean Luc Cyfac.

That's what I'd consider their "high end" frames.
I have no doubt that Asia makes good high end frames.
But besides the others mentioned, Trek, Colango, Time and
Pinarello's high end frames (my def: best) are NOT made in Asia.

Just picked this puppy up last night with a test toupe, if I like it I'll go black for the permanent saddle. 16.8lbs by the tried and trusted bathroom scales weighing method.
Can't wait to get a shake down ride in. Replaced stock wheels and saddle, tires don't excite me much, but I have a set of PR3's that are itching to go on there.

Here's my CAAD9-4 the day I bought it. Originally never thought of going Cannondale, was looking at higher priced bikes actually.. Pinarello, BMC..
Fell in love with the black caad9-4, problem was I couldn't find it in my size so rather reluctantly I ended up coming home with red. It's grown on me.. plus red is faster right?
This is my first road bike, been riding fixed for a year or so, but after hitting some high speeds decided I want to climb and descend more. I hit 45.2 mph the other day and it was awesome!
Upgrades so far is just a Dura Ace cassette.
Planned:
Wheelset (still undecided)
Carbon bars
Maybe red hoods
Black skewers (everything on this bike is red/black except silver skewers???)

Trek and Pinarello's best frames are made in America and Italy.
That's what I'd consider their "high end" frames.
