Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think competitivecyclist has a program in which you can plug in your info and it gives you a bike size. Check it out.

hard to say, but going off these numbers I would think you need a 54.

Bikes: 2017 Spez Allez Sagan Superstar

Awesome training camp with the team. 3 days of climbing torture but still managed to snap a great scenery.

That bike deserves a better backdrop. Where the heck is that?

That little building is Battery Cranston, in the shadow of the Golden Gate Bridge on the city side.

WOW !! i had a 2013 CAAD10 105 in this colour last year but sold it to get the 2014 Black CAAD10 ultegra. where is was thinking about having it more black, you have had the vision to make the other bits silver. excellent thought behind the colour scheme. i love my black stealth, but if i had of seen this pic last year, i would have been happy keeping by raw/black knowing that it could turn out like this

The bike rides great, couldn't be happier.
Which Zipp bar model? I'm a fan of the my Deda Newton Shallows, but if I go weight weenie (which I've started some what), I'd like a set of lightweight handlebars. Ritchey's new Neoclassic bars have good dimensions, but still tip the scales a bit heavy.

That CAAD10 with Campy looks fantastic. Most anything with classic drops and Campy is solid in my book.

I agree. The Campy bits, silver seat post and stem, and even the saddle with the silver really look right on that bike. Yours is the first of that paint scheme to look right IMO.

These are the bars https://www.zipp.com/bars/service-course-sl-88---/ I'm adding some Cero AR30 wheels, very light and do the job. I really do love the bike.

The silver campy Caad10 is a good looking machine, very tidy.

I bought this exact frame with the intention of doing a Campy build. I was thinking Chorus, but always in the back of my mind was "but I can get the Athena in silver..." Thanks for showing exactly how it would look. The white saddle and tape are a nice wrinkle, I was planning on keeping them black.

Presume the performance of the Athena is up to your standards?

Wow, looks amazing. I like the retro vibe you have created with the 'alloy' Campag. Bar looks slightly over rotater forwards but if you like it that way then its good I guess : )

Here is my CAAD 10 52cm custom build. Always been a Campag fan so stripped a regular 105 CAAD 10 and put all the bits on another frame.
I fitted a chainsuck protector from a Super Six... needed a bit of shaping but fits a treat now.

Sorry, I dont know what happened to my pic! I'll have to see if I can make it bigger somehow. It seems that you have to click on the pic to see the real size : / Newbies eh? lol

Bikes: 2014 CAAD10-3 2000 LeMond BA

I drove up to Jersey to get my new bike this past Thursday. Walked in the door Friday morning to the shop at 10 and rode out by 12. Since then I have ridden around 150 miles in four different states along with the nation's capital. Here is a shot in front of the White House on a very windy Saturday.

The smile hasn't left my face, even while I wait for the snow to melt. So, I apologize for the delay in posting pictures...but I was out riding

Seymour, how do you get it to be a large photo rather than just the thumbnail?

Host the image on an external website, like imgur or something, then copy the img url, click the little photo in the taskbar above where you type and put the copied url in there, then unclick the "host image on bike forums" or whatever the clickable option is, just make sure it's not clicked. Then hit enter.

Hey guys, just a heads up. Cult guidelines changed for 2014. You can't take pictures with your microwave anymore.

Bit of an update for me and my caad. Got new lights.

But I'm out of commision for 8-12 weeks. Took a hell of a spill saturday night. Concussion, fractured hip, chipped ankle, elbow is broken in three places, and a fair share of road rash.

But more importantly, the bike is fine. No frame dents, nothing broken. All cosmetic, the paint was hardly even touched, just some scratches on the seatstay. Wheels are true as the day I built them.
