Right now I'm just debating whether I should finally go with some new wheels. I'd really like to pull the trigger, but I also want a suit for wedding season. A check from snow shoveling will arrive soon, which means I'll have enough cash to pull the trigger on the wheels if I so choose... |

I wonder if I can get out my FSA english adapter out of my frame to run a BB30 crank? I'm happy with the 6700 crank, and should probably save my cash and just buy 52/39 rings. |

I do think the 6800 crank looks good, and have considered switching to it, but that'd be a mostly aesthetic choice. I can live with my FSA SL-K Light crankset for the time being. I have entertained the thought of going to Praxis chainrings in 50/36. I always seem to get caught between front chainrings and I think switching up to a 36 would help alleviate that a bit. I might have to switch to a 12-28 cassette out back though... Or I could ride more and get stronger, right? Haha Thanks for letting me think out loud. What do you think of the FLO 30 wheels? I really was looking into FLO wheels for a long time, but have since opted for a lightweight aluminum clincher since it's better suited to my purposes. |

Well, after a LONG week of tests putting it off, finally got it back up and running :D Went by the LBS and picked up a ravx 3-15nm torque wrench: 80$ drove around town looking for an extender to reach down into the top cap to get the expander: 5$ in gas drove to my apartment, picked up my bike and drove back to the lbs to ask how I make it reach it: 2$ in gas The look on my face when the dude separated the expander from the top cap to install it: priceless :D Thinking about it, having 5nm and 6nm preset torque wrenches...I have no use for this thing lol. Also...my phone takes REALLY crappy pictures in low light. |
Raced in the rain today. It poured like crazy. Had 5 feet visibility at some point. Zero creak from the Praxis Works BB.

When its all said and done i am a really humble guy. And i am very thankful for all that GOD have bless me with. I may have all these material things. But the thing that gives me the greatest fulfillment in life is helping others. And no i don't know more than anyone else i still have a lot to learn and i pray for more wisdom everyday.

I'm playing around with the idea of upgrading the RS80s that came with my CAAD10 to go a little more aero. Any suggestions?
