Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I agree, honestly man... It seems like the only bike you can appreciate is a black CAAD. I feel sorry that you can't find the beauty in other bikes.

With all of these CAAD threads, we might as well just start a CAAD subforum...

Think they're being started by the same person.

We need some Spooky Skeletor owners to post their bikes up!

You know, I was going to buy a black Caad 9 to replace the old S-Works frame I cracked earlier this year. But then i saw the white one, with red lettering and grey/black accents, and I thought, "man, that looks sweet." And every time I walk in to my garage and see that bike, I think the same thing - "man, that looks sweet."

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't get the same feeling from a black Caad 9 - my System 6, which is raw aluminum and carbon, certainly doesn't inspire it.

Amazing...9 posts (most complaining) and not one Black CAAD?

What's sad is actually taking the time to whine about a thread than just not responding to it and moving on.

Reminds me of that joke...
"Doctor, it hurts when I do this..."
How did The Doctor respond?

Black CAAD owners love Black CAADs.
I wanted to see what builds there were out there as I build up my CAAD.

I believe there is a function on this board that you can click if you don't like a thread.
It's a little red box with a white "X" inside of it. Problem solved.

[Said in a whiny voice...]
"Someone is posting something I don't want to read.
Why do people have to post things I'm not interested in?
Why do people like certain colors of bikes?
Why do people have particular tastes?
Wah wah wah..."

(I should've put a disclaimer...no fugly bikes! )

Just pointless posts?

You really "don't" have to click on this thread. No one is forcing you to be here.
If you never did, you'd never be exposed to what's being written here.
Trust me, if you didn't respond to this post, you would be much happier.
You could just...leave if you don't want to read a thread about Black CAADs.

Or, if you actually "have" a Black CAAD, you can post it.

(What's making this useless is non-topic related posts)

As for the threads, they are all specific threads.
The CAAD thread is for all CAADs.
This is for Black CAAD builds (read op).

Trust me, if you didn't respond to this post, you would be much happier.

Regardless of whether or not I click on it, it still clutters the hell out of the 41.

If I made a thread for every single piece of equipment I used you'd be annoyed too.

Really? No...I wouldn't be annoyed. If I didn't want to read what someone wrote, I wouldn't click on it.
I don't feel compelled to notice everything that is posted here.

Not only that (and I'm not trying to be a smart arse when I say this)
I more likely than not would not even notice if you posted something I wouldn't be
interested in because I wouldn't be paying attention to you or to every thread posted
(again, not said in a smart arse manner).

I don't notice every single thread posted here and I ignore most.
I focus on a few that I post on and actually have to go out of my way to notice threads.
But maybe we're different.

Let's face it...a few flamers got to spew their Haterade and now the thread is going to turn into a flame
war because some people have far too much pride to actually have something better to do. Thread's dead.

And FLAMING would be much more preferred by those complaining and
whining about a bike related thread than actual posting topic related posts.

Doesn't change the fact that this thread is a redundant version of an already redundant thread.
