In general the collective knowledge on BF massively eclipses what is available in all but the highest end shops. The word about new products is usually on here minutes after someone finds out and there are usually a few insiders here that know details already. Most shops aren't even aware of it until they get a new print catalog or a customer or rep comes in to ask or talk about it.
Also, no matter what someone thinks, shops will always be skewed to the side of defending and recommending the product that they sell. There is no way around that. They are usually armed with information from 1 rep....not all of them

What are the experiences on the forum with carbon wheels? I've heard a few suggest since going carbon, they'll never go back to conventional aluminum wheels. Personally, I don't like the deep-dish style of Zipps, but rather the Easton EC-90 (I think that's what they are) style. Does anyone have any experience with those particular wheels, the Eastons I mean?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Is this a good price? If they are renamed/market Zipp's at half the cost of Zipp it seems like a great deal?
