Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I've never discriminated against anyone in my life. I think discrimination for any reason is wrong and I would never be friends with someone who discriminates
Dictionary.com:

1.
to make a distinction in favor of or against a person or thing on the basis of the group, class, or category to which the person or thing belongs rather than according to actual merit; show partiality.

Have you actually read your own posts in this thread? Or maybe you were confused as to the meaning of the word itself?

Typo? If you say so....Nice try though. Also, I would imagine a person trying to play Ms. Grammar Police would be able to complete a grammatically correct sentence.

Just sayin'.

Two things, what does 1 3 8 have to do with your heritage and what's an "m dot"? Just kidding about the first question.

How's that "enlightenment" coming along? Sorry if all this posting pulled you away from the fine "artwork" you are doing on some gangbanger's knuckles. Nice!

I would be more worried about changing my mind someday. Tastes change. When - not if - you change your mind about it in the future, you're screwed. Good luck getting your arm 'un-sleeved'.

I really do hope you're just trolling because if you're this much of a bigot and ignorant in real life, then I pity you and the people around you. If you aren't trolling, then you're the biggest piece of scum that has come on this forum.

Corporate Dress Codes and tattoos

A study by Careerbuilders shows the perils of tattoos for aspiring professionals, and confirms the conventional wisdom that tattoos are a sign of immaturity, bad judgment and bad taste:

San Bernardino County California, bars all employees from wearing denim, having visible tattoos, and any piercing in the nose, lip, or tongue that contains jewelry.

In sum, tattoos send a message to corporate America that you are ignorant, low-income, that you have have bad taste, and worst of all, that you may have a criminal record.

From https://www.dba-oracle.com/dress_code_tattoos.htm

Ink up boys and girls. Makes landing a nice job easier for the rest of us.
San Bernardino is the most desirable county to work in CA?

A good dba is a good dba. We'll hire him regardless. They are hard to find.

A good HR department knows prison made tats vs saloon ones.

Now another point I'd like to make for the tattoo lovers. If you are having another language, or script like Devanagari or Hiragana or Kanji or even heirogyphics, double f'in check from a native that what the script means. You don't want "dumb ass" in Tamil do you?

not to mention a good HR department would know if the applicant has been in prison, which would probably be more frowned upon than "prison tattoos" as the geniuses in this thread like to call them.

No, I am far from perfect. Gawd Knows> But why put some lame-ass worse-than-black-velvet-elvis on seemingly unblemished skin. It ain't pretty.

Here is a good reason:

Larry the accountant gets home late one night and his wife, Linda, says, "Where in the hell have you been?" Larry replies, "I was out getting a tattoo." "A tattoo?" she frowned. "What kind of tattoo did you get?" "I got a $50 bill on my privates," he said proudly. "What the hell were you thinking?" she said, shaking her head in disdain. "Why on earth would an accountant get a $50 bill tattooed on his privates?" "Well, for one...I like to watch my money grow."Two...once in a while I like to play with my money. "Three...I like how money feels in my hand. "And, lastly...instead of you going out wasting money on shopping, you can stay right here at home and blow $50 anytime you want."

Larry is recovering nicely in the hospital...

That accountant Ron Jeremy by any chance? That must have been some small 50$ bill otherwise.

ok. i just read all this thread up to here and i have 2 things to say.

1) Why oh why would a Jewish person want to tattoo a number on his arm? I mean...what the Fuk is that all about? How immensely ignorant of your people's history can you be?

2) Do you think piercings and studs etc are worse than tatts?

I don't mean to throw accelerant onto a fire but what the hell.
