Check out Carl Strong located in Montana for custom Ti as well, I believe he is a bit more reasonable than the 5k Lynskey frame and does simply amazing work with Ti

I got an R330 with a Sram Rival build on 23 OCT 2009 and just passed 5700 miles on it this past weekend at the Gran Fondo ride in Fly Tennessee on it's one year anniversary.

What's not to like? Climbs as well as my legs can push it, corners and descends with confidence.......... comfortable, stable, beautiful.

I've had at least 10 flats....changed worn out tires.....taken the back wheel off to clean the bike.....never had a problem with the rear shifting and mine also has a replaceable hanger.

I have a Ti bike Jones -- Litespeed (Lynskey) 1998 Ultimate, Litespeed (Lynskey) 2000 Appalachian, Airborne 2003 Spectre, and 2005 Quintana Roo Santo (very nice bike). If I were to buy a new Ti bike, it would be a Lynskey. Also, the Lynskey people are very friendly and easy to work with. I have talked to them on numerous occasions about Lynskey era Litespeeds (much of the same staff).

I want...

I've certainly been sold... I know that there are other frame builders in that same price range that are probably making bikes that are just as nice, But since these guys are local, I think I'll give them my business.

I have pretty much decided on the Sportive frame, The Geometry of it is VERY similar to my old Litespeed, which I loved. It is close, in some ways, to the bike I'm riding now, which is a Motobecane Century (Come on now, be nice... It's NOT a bad ride, for the money!). Actually it seems to be right between the two.

I just have to decide if i'm better off with the M or the ML frame. The M has a slightly longer (.8cm) top tube than my litespeed did, but the head tube is considerably shorter. Other measurements, such as head & seat tube angles, are virtually identical. The ML has a longer top tube, very close to the Motobecane that I am riding now, so I would figure that it'll be a somewhat less relaxed position. Hopefully I'll be able to try them out!

If not, I'm leaning towards the M... I think if I have to be off a bit, I'd rather be a little smaller than a little larger...
