Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fender Recommendations

I'm looking for some fenders for my Specialized Tricross. I'd prefer them to be "modern" looking, as opposed to a set you'd see on Mary Poppins bike.

Thanks in advance!

I have Planet Bike Cascadia fenders on my Tricross Comp. They work very, very well and they are really not that noticeable.

I forget which model, but I have the planet bike ones on my commuter. Work well and look good. The Crud fenders are probably the slickest looking ones if you run 23mm tires on that bike though.

I am very intrigued by the Crud Road Racers - but will they fit with my 32c cross tires?

Get a set of removable Bontrager Satellite fenders. Use 'em only when you forecast that you'll need 'em.

I do not think they will fit any tires over 25mm . I just installed a set of Crud Road Racers on my Fuji Obey single-speed with new 25mm tires and they" just fit". Man i love these fenders what a great product !

The people that keep suggesting Crud fenders aren't reading what the OP is saying. He's using 32's. Cruds only have a maximum of 25's. OP, go with some real full coverage fenders. You won't regret it.
