Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Im itching for a new bike build and their frames look nice. I know they used to be Airborne, but thats all I know.

Just curious if anyone on this forum has ordered one and had it shipped here to the U.S.

A friend of mine ordered one (we're in Australia). I recall that he had great difficulty finding a dealer or anyone that would ship outside the EU.

They seem to get good reviews if you read UK cycling magazines (Van Nicholas are Dutch so geographcally close to the UK).

quality of the frame looks nice, I emailed them and they said it would be 839 Euros or $1165 w/ free shipping for the frame. Have no clue if Ill be charged import tax or whatever tax or fees to bring it into the United States. Has anyone ever bought a frame from europe???

Bikes: COLNAGO CLX AND ENIGMA ECHO

They have a very good reputation in the UK and Europe and I'm sure you would be very happy with one.
However assuming that you are in the US they are certainly not better than some of the North American Titanium frames, Moots, Lynskey etc.
I have an Enigma, worth looking at their website if you are keen on a European branded bike. https://www.enigmabikes.com/
My dream titanium bike is a Moots but they are just too expensive here in the UK.

Bikes: Custom Zinn Dolomite Ti

Don't forget Zinn Cycles for beautiful custom Ti bikes.

They are in Boulder, Colorado.

Zinn Cycles

They shipped me one all the way to New Zealand.

It's truly a thing of beauty and performs magnificently...

HOLY SMOKES! Are the prices on the Zinn in American dollars or Chinese dollars!! Them things are expensive!

I still want to build my first Ti bike and still considering other choices like Lynskey or go with an inexpensive Ti frame like the Motobecane.
