I'm 5'11" and weighed 145 last I checked, 3 months or so ago. I've been eating more and riding less since then, so I'm probably up to 150. Wintarghh.

You roadie-skinny people are...very skinny. At 5'8" and 170lbs I suddenly feel, uh, nope, still feel pretty good. I'm converting to a tri-weenie from a gym rat though and losing some weight. Pretty sure my frame would look funny too much lighter. And the wife would complain. The pics from my last (first) tri. No good ones from the ride so you have to settle for a swim.

You can't run the swim leg? That explains sooo much.
My wife loves to cooK and I love to eat the food she maKes and its normally healthy (she's a recovering hippie so its lots of naturalness and borderline vegetarian...but yummy). But she recently got an ice cream maKer and now she maKes dessert all the time. I asKed her why she is trying to maKe me fat. She said, "So other girls don't looK at you." I said, "But snuggle muffin, I don't want other girls." She got a glint in her eye and, without missing a beat said, "Insurance."

being a vegetarian just makes it harder to ingest all the calories you need. it's not a reason to be underweight (not saying YOU are underweight, i wouldn't know).

I'm virtually the same height and weight, and if I were to take my shirt off at the beach I'd probably be getting casting calls for the next Holocaust movie within the hour. He's underweight.

Damn!!! My sister is anorexic and has been hospitalized numerous times. You're talking hard core mental disorder at that point. Not saying the OP here is at that stage, but DAMN, maybe it's time to start a bit of self reflection.

I'm 2 pounds further away today than I was on Friday.....
Seriously, I'm 6'-0 and typically float between 169 - 171...today I was 172. (Friday was 170)
I got down to 165 last year but got tired of everybody asking me if I was sick. 170 seems to suit me.

I have a very small frame and still 120 pounds at 5'9" means pretty much no body fat and very little muscle. It's easy to get caught in the "lighter is better" trap with cycling, but it's really not.
Edit: I guess I'm probably closer to 5'10" though. I'm somewhere between 9 and 10, depends on how/when I get measured. 140 +/- 3 pounds suits me pretty well.
