SRAM Red - DEAL?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

SRAM Red - DEAL?

OK, so I'm bored, and if we can have threads about touch-screens, and threads about toch-screen threads, I might as well post this.

SRAM Red build kit: $2,699.99

SRAM Red build kit with free carbon frame, Aksiums wheels, stem, bars and saddle: $2,499.99

I'm just sayin'.

Ya the language barrier creates for some interesting product descriptions. That website is legit though, if you check out the RBR subforum for wheels there is a whole thread about chinese carbon wheels and many people have ordered from that company, Yishun, though the actual website is new.

it's a build kit, not just the group but regardless, I think you missed his point.

Depends.

Most components, shipped from most countries, should be allowed in duty-free according to Chapter 87 of The Schedule. That is if your package is even selected for inspection.... but assuming it is, you're kinda at the mercy of the person doing the inspecting, and how they choose to classify your goods.

I came in under a grand by going Force on the FD, cassette, and BB. I have no regrets other than the BB creaks at 400 miles... I was holding out for the Chris King anyway.
