Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

good job with the bane of product photos, the mirror-ness of shiny metal....you did a good job with paper, or a Sbox or whatever that did the job of creating the highlights/reflections.
I once worked on a shoot with a suit of armour (I ended up being in the damn thing for the finals, uncomfortable as hell) and we had to build a complete tent around it (think we used white seamless actually, was 20 years ago)

ps, the metal sheet or whatever it is works well as a bkgd doesnt it, nice texture that compliments the smoothness of the parts (contrasts rather I guess i should say)

Ihad noticed your bike shots a while back.

That Campy group is my ultimate desire. Your pictures are amazing, and as an avid photographer, I really appreciate the content and execution.

Did you ever work in the dark room? I shoot exclusively in 35mm and medium format black and white film.

Wow! Beautiful shots. As an amateur photographer myself, those photos are very humbling.

I love this sheet metal. I get tired doing product stuff with plain backgrounds. Even these simple bottle cages turned out nice.

And this old Rolls looks kinda nice as well...

And I do love shooting a nice cassette...

It's a good thing you stayed inside -- you would've died using those in the rain.

Anyway, I know this is just the calm before the storm. Where's the FRAME that these bad boys are going on?

Great photos! That's exactly what I'd choose for an Italian lugged steel frame - C-Record, Rolls, Elite.

So im guessing your a Shimano guy right?

Anyways really nice pics. I should experiment with some macro-ish photography some time. Its always interesting to see someone (like you) who can take every day objects and cast them in a different light (both literally and figuratively).

Really nice pics.

28-70 standard Canon zoom lens. I need to get a better one. Something that complements the E Series tele I have.
