It's a cool and breezy 14C here today ... early signs of autumn. However, when the clouds clear off a bit and temp warms up a little it should be a nice afternoon for a ride. :)

Well, I feel for you all in the cold hinterlands of this great nation. It is going to be sunny and 75 degrees today in Southern California. I am not rubbing that in, but instead conveying my shared cabin fever as I have a severe sinus infection that has got me on some seriously heavy antibiotics that will be keeping me out of the sun for 10 days. And on top of that I can't turn my head or look down without wanting to cry. If it was cold and snowy out, I don't think this would suck as bad as it does.

Winter is when I buy stuff. Have built a bike in the winter 5 of the last 6 years. I'm sick of listening to myself whine, so I spend in silence and count the days. It's been said once in this thread, it's light out now when I leave for work and it is still light out when I leave work.
That makes me smile. |

There have been some weekends warm and clear enough for road riding but my wife trumped me with her desire to go tandeming. It's all good :love:

9 more days until it's officially Spring!
This weekend, we spring the clock forward an hour! More daylight! Yeah! And I just got my bike back today from the shop! Goal now is to get a wheelset before the first day of Spring. It's almost over folks...we're almost there. :D |
