Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Colored chain ring bolts?

Hello,

Looking to get some colored chain ring bolts. Currently running SRAM S900 crank with compact Force/Rival rings. What material is currently used for my chain ring bolts and is replacing them generally an acceptable thing to do? I'm just worried about durability/quality more than anything.

I don't want to get some cheap anodized aluminum ones off eBay if they are prone to stripping or not staying put. I'm definitely open to eBay, but want to make sure I get some quality hardware. Any brand suggestions would be very appreciated!

Thanks!

Those should work... that being said I have no personal experience with those. Do have experience with KCNC and it's quality stuff.

Purely Custom carries 6 & 8 mm chain ring bolts in assorted colors, as well as a lot of other custom -- screws, bolts, cable end crimps, etc.
