Winter winter go away!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Winter winter go away!

OMG...will it ever stop?
This is an image of one of my employee's who is about to attempt to retrieve one of the cars from our storage facility to deliver to a customer tomorrow. This image was taken March 7th and we have already received about 20cm and lots more to come. Lots of blowing snow (see pic).
Anyone wanna ride?

So long as the roads aren't drifted over (knock on wood), I try to be out there.

I'm over the whole snow thing. I want winter to be done.

I'm in the minority. I want one more week of decent skiing, two more weeks of decent speed skating.

Winter is too brief. If I can find a job in T.C., I'll move there tomorrow.

My problem lately has been flooding, had two rides cut short / rerouted due to water over roads last week. Today I was riding through about 1/2 of mud deposits and cornstalk raft piles in the middle of the road. However, I'll take this over the snow.

The rain the night before last got rid of a ton of snow around here. That said, Chris, I feel your pain. I've been waiting desparately for at least the trails to be rideable so I can do some biking outside.

However, I'm glad about the snow you're getting, not to sound like a jerk, but I'm spending all next week in Ste. Anne des Monts for some randonee in the Chic Chocs. And they've been getting dumped on and it's going to be awesome!

Snow on it's way today again. We are expected to have record floods on the Mississippi this year.
