That is a nice looking frame. Post some build pictures.

IIRC, Isn't your mom-in-law going to bring you a set of carbon wheels from the states? Are you going to use them with this frame?

I too am surprised by how gentle Bikeforums has been on you, Deepak. :)

Must be the impending onset of spring.

Thanks Bob.

Sure made a fool of myself.

hey at least you haven't emailed anyone from SRAM about teeth missing from your cassette, that would be foolish... :innocent:

Deepak - who is doing your build? if it's you then remember, slow, steady and torque wrench.

iam7head 03-09-11 06:41 AM

Rollin,

I actually laughed out aloud.

'That' certainly would be foolish ;-)

My first thought was that it must be aluminum or steel to dent like that. Then I remembered how they do that for the derailleur.

The hard part is finding a derailleur clamp that fits that indent.

;)

To be completely accurate, it's not for the clamp. It is to allow the front derailleur's lower inside pivot enough room to actuate without contacting the frame when shifting to the small chainring.

If you really do not want the frame I can give you 50 bucks for it. After all is damaged, right?

We see a thread exactly like this every few months, they probably get one a week.

If I made frames, I'd have a sticker on that part that of the frame that says "Design, not dent".

You should send that to them, great idea :)
