Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Specialized Bike Fit?

So I found one of the acqua sapone(zebra stripes) e5 s-works frames at out lbs for a good price. The only thing is it is a 61cm(sloping) and I normally ride a 59cm(standard). I was looking at the geometry and my main worry is the top tube reach, because I have pretty long legs the seat post height or standover isn't a problem. I have never ridden a sloping geometry bike so I was just wondering if anyone knows if these fit smaller than normal or if the fit about the same on the top tube?

Assuming the effective top tube length is 61cm, you are talking about a toptube that is less than an inch longer. That's changeable by a stem change.

also, i'm pretty sure the number they give in the size is "effective top tube length" (as clink83 said), which means the sloping geometry doesn't affect the fit.
