This thread has gotten juicy. I like. So... I can't believe how many posts people had just from this thread.
The question is, now that we know this thread probably won't permanently count towards our post count. What will we do?! Post more, less, venture out to the rest of the forums?

Ok look... I basically want to ride my bike FOREVER. But I have horrible wrist pains. Like the bone meeting my hand is too large for my hand bone so there is a lot of tension. So... basically. F my body. I have discovered that I can't do anything full hardcore - I have some sort of weird limitation in EVERY sport I've ever tried. This wrist pain, it's new. And a result of cycling.

Since all of my discretionary budget is going towards our as-yet unborn puppy, I will just be making essential repairs to my current bike. The rear derailer is worn out. I think I can replace it with a decent one for under $50. Used or really good sale items are being scanned. I want a fairly large chain wrap capacity on this bike, so I'll pobably will go with a GS type or something like Deore.
Thoughts?

Just sent a nice payment to Bill Me Later. I have managed to pay off / eliminate $17,400 in debt over the past month. It's amazing how much stress that has eliminated.

Woke up from a dream last nite - that I crashed into a back of a vehicle and my new carbon wheel was destroyed in the process. I wonder what my HR was when I suddenly awoke?
In the dream, I didn't fall into rear window, but bike bounced back from vehicle.

Thanks, this final payment was really hard to make. I sold my mountain bike and was very, very tempted to use the money to buy an Independent Fabrication frameset from a buddy of mine. He was going to sell me a steel frame, carbon fork, king headset for $700. What made it even harder is that he had IF build it to the same dimensions of my old IF so it would have fit me perfect.

Upon further review and consultation with leading mathematicians, I must sadly announce that Velo Gator has indeed won the NCAA tournament bracket contest.
Frankly, I've got just enough male chauvinism to be embarrassed that I lost to a girl. Oh the humanity. But hey, at least I didn't say a final four team shouldn't be in the field on national TV. That would be really embarrassing.
Congratulations Velo Gator. Enjoy your prize.
