ok..i'm going out to get a new passport photo taken. apparently my current one doesn't look like me. it was a pic i took 15 years ago. people say i haven't changed but obviously they are just lying. government bureaucrats are not so kind.

As a service to ls01, we have slowed the volume of posts in this thread. I suspect he got caught up in about a minute and a half today.

Since you don't start work for a while, let's set up a few tourist trips. First up, the new Gigantex factory in Beitou. https://www.cycletaiwan.com/shop/inde...d=75&Itemid=73

With the November and Boyd owners now here, along with Rob, there's a lot of interesting wheel info on BF.
I remember Rob saying he uses the Gigantex rims, but is testing another one that I think is being used by Boyd. November is using someone other than Gigantex.
For tubulars, the Boyd 50mms are hard to beat at 1300g and $775. Two year warranty and strong enough for the fat kids.

Think of the possibilities. You could buy an unbranded carbon frame out there for cheap and then all the bits directly from Gigantex. I assume it'll cost you a fraction of what a bike would cost you in the UK and if you paid attention, you could easily have a very light bike. How fun.
