Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I used to be with the little dog hate crew, but no more. I reckon I started hating them at age 9 or 10 because the first dog that bit me was a Dachshund. And I do hate the ones that bark nonstop and nip at your ankles.

I've since met some very awesome chihuahuas and miniature schnauzers that are the best dogs ever. My friend's chihuahua hardly ever barks at all.

An LBS has the cutest little dachshund you've ever seen in your life. I've yet to hear that dog bark, just the click of the claws on the floor as it runs around.

I apologise in advance for the lack of white garage door and I couldn't get the chain onto the large chainring. Something to work on. My new road bike.

Neither do I, but it's easier to load on my iPhone, refresh, review, and respond. Also, no hall monitors.

All dogs can be great, it just depends on the owner. That being said, Chihuahuas hold the distinction of being one of the first dogs that was bred for... well, nothing. Companionship, but no work, per se. Oh, for any dog folks with Netflix, there's a great Nova episode on Watch Instantly - Dogs Decoded: Nova. Very interesting look at the unique relationship between humans and dogs and at the domestication process.

Read a review recently which listed the daschund as the most aggressive of all dogs. I guess if I was that shape I'd be pissed too. Just imagine, if they were the size of a labrador they'd make a serious guard dog.

Bikes: Have two wheels

I like the scenery coasting. So, nice pics.

Is that bike comfortable to ride? It doesn't look like it would be.

I just worked out how to unfold it. It feels odd to ride.

hey coasting,

You're not going to get any exercise riding that thing around. What will do you? You'll get fat in Taiwan. Kinda like Big in Japan.
