Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

need help...

Not sure if this is the best place to post but i am lookin to get a road bike and start riding and have read lots of reviews on ****ty bikes from walmart and to not get them and the fall apart. ive also read in the reviews that i should go to craigslist and but 100-200 dollar bike. so i went on craigslist and have narrowed it down to 3 bikes and cant decide which is best. i thought id leave it up to people here who are a little more expierenced in biking. thank you! here are the links

I'll stop at the first one and cast my vote as long as you are in the 5 to 6 foot range lol

Check into this one:

Cannondale is a nice brand, if this is in good condition I would probably consider it more than what you listed. It looks like the same person has a Lotus for sale as well. I'm wondering if he just sells bikes.

Not sure which year it is but here's a few pics of that same model.
