Couldn't keep up with a Feral Cat on the local MUP!!!

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Couldn't keep up with a Feral Cat on the local MUP!!!

I just got back from a ride where a Feral Cat dusted me on an empty MUP. I swear it was toying with me. It ran ahead of me for about half a mile. First I couldn't keep up with a guy a NEXT full suspension bike, now it's feral cats. Damn Dood. I need to start taking steroids.

Think of how fast you could pedal if you had four legs.

Never ran into a cat on the MUP, but I remember one time a couple of years ago trying to keep up with a really good looking woman on a mountain bike in darn near see-through spandex. I worked hard for about 10 miles and finally gave up She was maintaining a 20+MPH average. Granted I was about 30 miles in, but still!

I must find a descent capable of rocketing me to 70+ MPH, so that I may call myself the fastest land mammal...
