:books trip to Death Valley:

Road 26 miles in 60 to today on my fixed while my friends rode their road bikes, fantastic coolness.

tonight my second bowl of ice cream was NOT bigger than my first. still a two bowl night though. later.

Every Saturday and Sunday morning, I arise from bed at 5:30, I eat breakfast standing at the kitchen island, fill my bottles, go into the garage and pump my bike tires to optimum pressure, go back inside, and poop.

My confession is that I do all of these things completely naked.

Excellent... because I'm dead-serious about that list.

I wore tall cycling socks for last nights group ride and actually thought they looked cool.

I confess that I think you are all a bunch of posers. Who the hell puts on special clothes and shoes to ride a plastic bike?

I confess... I don't know what "41" means. (besides the fact that it's a number that comes after 40)

We wear plastic clothes thus ride plastic bikes. We have to match.

I got my wife hooked on cycling so I could remain hooked on cycling.

I am unable to take the garbage out without visiting my bikes, for awhile.

I spend more time on BF than I do on FB!!

None of my street clothes fit me anymore. And I like that!

no ice cream tonight, BUT beer is good. later.

I rode a MTB for 10+ years when I should've been riding a road bike.
Now I ride a cross bike as a road bike.
I covet many of the bikes in these forums but will likely never be able to afford them.
I wish my wife would ride so I could ride more.
I hope my little boy grows up to like riding so I can ride more then too.
I sometimes get spooked by surprise "on the left" calls.
I had to google HTFU...

I don't ride with headphones anymore because once I took them off and a lady was yelling at me from a car.
I post here more than I ride.
I sit and stare at my bike for a couple minutes each day.
Between classes I go to my school's bike rack and all the locks and see if there's any damage to the bike.
I always want to go for a ride, but I can't push myself out of the house.

I feel kinda bad when other riders don't say "hi" back.

Why don't you start a thread explaining how you feel when this happens. A "Waving" thread would be something of real interest on the 41.

I ride on my trainer in the basement as much as I ride on the road.

Last night I rode because of Grey's Anatomy, not because I like it but because I didn't want to watch it with my wife!

I came in 5th in age group, and 29th overall in a duathlon yesterday on my Hybrid. I relished beating guys on bikes that cost 4-5 times what mine did. I also loved the compliments from the guys I was hanging with. Even if the bike distance was only 15 miles.

the foam roller kicked my ass yesterday................ but I was tight and needed it!!

I think the people who post and respond to threads in A&S are complete whining losers.
I often post to A&S.
Everytime I pass someone with shaved legs, I think I'm a stud.
I pass people with shaved legs about once a month, usually when they're on the phone.

I confess that I'm sitting in my home office this morning, in my pajamas, wearing my new road shoes to break them in a bit before I take them for their first ride.
